The room at Murton Cottage was cozy and comfortable, making me feel right at home. The soft and inviting bed was like sleeping on a cloud, and the natural light streaming through the window was a pleasant wake-up call. I loved the peaceful ambiance of the room, perfect for a light sleeper like me.
The only downside for me was the bathroom setup, with both a bath and shower. Personal preference, though.

Beautifully decorated and modern. Cosy, warm, and well-equipped. Plenty of tea, coffee, sugar, and milk provided. Spacious and well-appointed. Convenient location with nearby supermarkets. Nice outdoor garden space
Could not be improved in any way.

We had a delightful stay at Murton Cottage, enjoying the idyllic surroundings and neighborly atmosphere. The cottage was well equipped and very clean, providing all the essentials for a comfortable self-catering experience. The little touches like fresh milk, tea, coffee, and delicious biscuits were greatly appreciated. The cottage offered a spacious and modern interior, with a lovely outdoor garden space complete with garden furniture. The location was perfect for exploring the nearby attractions and activities. We especially loved watching the nesting swallows in the sun for hours.
Would recommend this hotel.

We were absolutely blown away by the modern and spacious design of the cottage, it had everything we could possibly need! The little touches like tea, coffee, and milk in the fridge were super thoughtful. We were able to enjoy the outdoor garden space as the weather was great, and the location was ideal for our needs. The fact that there was a notebook for maintenance issues was a genius idea, as it kept the guest book positive. Access to the main road was easy, and the cottage was set up with all the necessary amenities. It was an incredibly peaceful stay with no traffic. Plus, the cottage was conveniently close to large supermarkets like Tesco and Asda! With plenty of space, beautiful presentation, and an amazing location, this cottage was a dream come true. Free parking and Wi-Fi, cots available, and we were even allowed to bring our furry friend along. Absolutely no smoking on site. a mind-blowing experience!

The location was perfect, just a short drive away from Spittal and Berwick-upon-Tweed. The cottage itself was stunning, set on a beautiful farm with a peaceful atmosphere. We loved the fact that it was well-equipped with everything we needed for our romantic escape. The house was clean and cozy, and we appreciated the little touches like fresh milk, tea, coffee, and biscuits waiting for us upon arrival. It made us feel instantly at home.
If I have to be really picky, the mattresses were starting to feel a bit crunchy in places. It would have also been helpful if there was an instruction manual for the oven.

The kitchen at this 4-star holiday home is fully equipped with a dishwasher and oven. Trust me, it's like having a personal chef without the hefty price tag! I felt like a master chef whipping up delicious meals every day. And the dining area was the perfect setting to enjoy those culinary creations.
Missing oven manual
